Our Story

Our family’s search for the perfect dog started years ago.
After our beloved Lab, Shadow, crossed the rainbow bridge, we knew our home wouldn’t feel complete without a four-legged friend. But when we learned that our son Christopher had allergies, our path narrowed to only a few allergy-considerate, family-friendly breeds. A standard poodle wasn’t quite the look my husband pictured strolling down the street with—so we kept searching for a companion with the same heart, intelligence, and joy… just a little less “prissy.” That’s when we discovered Goldendoodles.

Two years later, in September 2004, Lacy Doodles bounded into our lives and changed everything. Her gentle temperament, brains, and beautiful, low-to-non-shedding coat made her the perfect fit for an active, allergy-sensitive household. Friends kept asking, “Where did you find a dog like that?” One happy family match led to another—and ChaCha Doodles was born, named for our children C-H-A: Christopher, Hannah, and Alexander.

Today, we’re still a hands-on, home-based program in Northern New Jersey, raising puppies right in our living spaces so they’re used to household sounds, children’s giggles, and everyday routines. We focus on health, temperament, and early manners—introducing crate and potty basics, gentle handling, and lots of love—so your puppy arrives ready to blend into family life.

For families outside our area, we offer VIP Concierge Delivery—your puppy travels in-cabin with us (never cargo) and is personally delivered to your door. Because when you welcome a ChaCha Doodle, you’re not just getting a dog—you’re gaining a family member.
